BUILDERS RATES BULLYING... Hey Guys ! there has been builders sending out letters to you, RE : dropping your Rates to 15 years ago prices, (( telling you ! what you are going to work for )), I want you to let us know who they are !! you do not have to accept these conditions . We recommend that you work only for the sincere builders, We can let you know who they are !, The greedy ones should just be ignored !!! We can tell you who they are too. Don't forget !! there are rules about price fixing, even against your self, you should be allowed to quote your jobs ! NOT just given a Purchase Order and told do it for this price or rack off.. Stand up ! join us to fix this problem. Bricklayers are not the problem for house price rises, and never have been. More the lifestyle of the greedy Builder needing to be maintained. It's time to take us back to normality, We too need a SUSTAINABLE income and career for our future,and the future of our families and apprentices. If you allow the Builder to get away with this, You will not be able to pay the Items of:- PAYE TAX, GST, SUPERANNUATION, WORK CARE LEVY, INSURANCES, Etc,,, You buying Cement and Lime Doesn't make you a Contractor, And having to absorb all these costs (there are other costs) will never help you in surviving. Some don't care about this, and they don't care about their morality or accountability. You have to make these changes with us!! please have your say..Do not listen to anybody but your National Bricklayers Association. From the REAL DEAL TEAM . Don.

The National Bricklayers Association works with employers to improve the bricklaying industry and we always welcome new members as your input and feedback allows us to advocate any changes needed and provide relevant support.

Housing Association Meeting Minutes
The National Bricklayers Association provides valuable information to members, and interested guests at our regular meetings.
At our latest Housing Association Meeting on Tuesday, September 27,
committee member J. Charles spoke to the members about the need for
communication between members about any problems they see in the
bricklaying industry. He said members needed to talk more with each
other to help out with manpower, correct business adaptions and ethical
progress.

How to Run a Successful Bricklaying Business
The National Bricklayers Association can provide you with information on how to successfully set up and run your bricklaying business. We can give you information on who to contact when employing bricklaying apprentices and who to speak to regarding grants for employing apprentices.
In addition to assisting you with General Bricklaying issues the National Bricklayers Association can also put you in touch with a professional company who can help you with Work Cover and OH&S information. They can assist you with matters relating to Work Cover & OH&S issues.
